Tom Brady Won’t Return to New England

Tom Brady, arguably the greatest quarterback in the history of the NFL announced that he will not spend the 2020-2021 NFL season with the New England Patriots.

Brady and Belichick had incredible success over their 20 years together but sources say their relationship was not nearly as strong in 2019 as it had once been.

Bleacher Report reported early Tuesday morning that the Patriots did not make an effort to Re-Sign Brady, and Brady had no problem looking for a contract elsewhere. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Los Angeles Chargers are the most likely destinations for the quarterback.

This development has immense implications for the legacies of both Tom Brady and Bill Belichick. If Tom Brady wins a Super Bowl with another team, he will easily cement his status as the greatest football player of all time. On the contrary, if the Patriots win a Super Bowl with a new Quarterback, Brady‘s legacy will take a hit.
