    Janoris Jenkins

Janoris Jenkins has been claimed by the New Orleans Saints. Jenkins was released by the New York Giants following his refusal to apologize for an offensive tweet. Jenkins has an impressive 4 interceptions this year but gives up an average of 60YPG and has allowed 6 TD’s this year. The Saints cornerback Patrick Robinson is injured for at least one week and Jenkins should fill that void nicely. He is poised to be the Saints 3rd CB behind Marshon Lattimore and Eli Apple. The Saints are top 5 Super Bowl favorites and they don’t have much to lose through this waiver claim. As of now, Field2Court does not believe that this signing affects their Super Bowl odds.

    Josh Gordon

Josh Gordon was suspended Monday for the 5th time in his career. Previously receiving suspensions related to illegal substances, it appears as though this suspension relates to Performance Enhancing Drugs. The NFL has given Gordon a number of chances throughout his career, but this suspension is indefinite. Gordon was waived by the Patriots earlier in the season and was promptly picked up by the Seattle Seahawks. With Seattle, he has not had much of an impact on the passing game, touting just 7 catches and 139 yards in the last month with the team. While he has been suspended before, this suspension certainly feels different and it is probable that Josh Gordon will never play another NFL game.

    Terrell Suggs

Terrell Suggs was waived by the Arizona Cardinals earlier this week in a relatively quiet move with fairly little media coverage. The rumor is that the Kansas City Chiefs have submitted a waiver claim for Suggs in response to their recent loss of Defensive End, Alex Okafor. The Chiefs also lost Emmanuel Ogbah earlier in the season and their depth at DE is becoming very thin. It is unknown whether Suggs will report to the Chiefs if the waiver claim is approved. Suggs, a 7 time Pro Bowler all with the Ravens hopes to return to Baltimore and assist them in their quest for the Super Bowl. It is unknown if the Ravens are interested in his services or if it is even feasible for them to acquire him.
