After the Cowboys’ brutal loss to the Bills on Thanksgiving day, Eagles fans and disgruntled Cowboys fans alike have increasing confidence that the birds will win the division. Should Eagles fans be confident? I think not. Though the Eagles have the easiest schedule to end the year, we still shouldn’t be confident. The only game we have against a team that isn’t 2-9 is, you guessed it, the Cowboys. The thing is though, the Eagles have a history of playing down to their competition. I would expect the Eagles to lose at least one of those games, which kills hopes for the playoffs. The Cowboys also have an easy schedule. They face off against the awful Bears and Trubisky the Terrible as well as the Rams with Jared Goff. It will ultimately come down to the Week 16 Cowboys vs Eagles game. And based off of history these past few years, Dallas owns Philly. Eagles fans can’t expect to win the division at this point.
