The Knicks have claimed two-way guard Jared Harper and have waived two-way guard Kadeem Allen.

Jared Harper is 5’11 with a 43 inch vertical. He is only 22 years old compared to Kadeem Allen who is 27 years old.

Jared just came off a G-League season with the Suns where he averaged 20.8 PPG and 5.7 APG and 41% from the field.

The Knicks now have Kenny Wooten and Jared Harper on two-way deals.

This is Leon Roses’ first player acquisition since he became president.

UPDATE: Because we have signed Jared Harper to a 1 year deal, he will actually be a FA this summer, but we have bird rights on him meaning he is restricted

UPDATE 2: This also means that the Knicks will not be converting Lamar Peters’ contract into a two-way contract, who average 18 PPG and 7APG this season in the G-League.
