After 2 underwhelming seasons going 3-13 in 2018 and 5-10-1 in 2019, the Arizona Cardinals are looking like one of the most dangerous teams in the NFL. In their last season with rookie quarterback Kyler Murray and rookie coach Kliff Kingsbury, they tested some playoff and Superbowl bound teams like the San Francisco 49ers, Baltimore Ravens, Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks. In this off season the Cardinals acquired wide receiver Deandre Hopkins from the Houston Texans in a blockbuster trade that included running back David Johnson. After many weeks of mock drafts and guesses on who the Cardinals would pick on draft night, stud linebacker Isaiah Simmons slipped down to pick 8 after multiple reports saying he will go to the New York Giants or the Carolina Panthers. The Cardinals also drafted OT Josh Jones, DT Leki Fotu and Rashard Lawrence, LB Evan Weaver, and RB Eno Benjamin. The Cardinals definitely have the tools to be a 10-11 win team and make it to the playoffs. It’s all about how well they work together and if they can put those tools together.
