Dodger southpaw Rich Hill has just had elbow surgery, first reported by WEII. Hill is projected to miss half of the 2020 MLB Season.
Hill, in the limited stretches of play last season had a 4-1 record with a 2.45 ERA. Hill, who will be 40 in March in a deep pitching free agency class, now faces the threat of not getting signed this offseason, thus being forced into retirement.
Hill has most recently played in Game 4 of the 2019 World Series but did not accumulate a win or loss to his name.
