Here is the new news from the past 2 days of the Knicks’ Coaching Search:

The Knicks plan on interviewing Chris Fleming, Will Hardy, and Jamahl Mosley, and they do NOT plan on interviewing Becky Hammon.

Chris is a former Nets and current Bulls assistant coach.

Will is a Spurs assistant coach. Hardy, 32, is well-regarded within the Spurs organization.

Jamahl is a current Mavericks assistant coach. He has coached with the Mavericks for 6 years and interviewed for the Cavs head coaching job last year.

The Knicks reportedly are going to interview 8-10 candidates. They are already up to 8 if all reports are correct.

The list of people the Knicks plan on interviewing as of now is:
    Tom Thibodeau
    Kenny Atkinson
    Mike Woodson
    Ime Udoka
    Pat Delany
    Chris Fleming
    Will Hardy
    Jamahl Mosley

Hopefully, Leon picks the right guy as this is the first big decision he has to make as president. We obviously have had issues with coaches in the past, but I believe in Leon with whatever direction he goes in. In my opinion, I think Kenny Atkinson is the way to go. At this point, I think we should go with a proven developmental coach. Let me know who you think the Knicks should hire!

And yes, there has been no news on if Mark Jackson is getting an interview as of now…..
