Update on the 2020-2021 NBA Season

NBA players view Dec. 22 start as ‘inevitable,’ vote coming as soon as Thursday, per report. NBA players have shown little enthusiasm for the league’s plan to start the 2020-21 season on Dec. 22, only around two months after the NBA Finals in Orlando ended, however, due to the massive decrease in revenue due to COVID-19, and massive revenue loss if they were to start later, it seems like there is very little choice. If the NBA were to start in December, it would be a 72 game season.

This means that Knick players, along with the 7 other teams that didn’t participate in the bubble, will play their first game after 9 months. This also means teams that made deep playoff runs will have to start another season after only 2 months of lay-off.

What are your thoughts on the proposed season?
