    DJ LEMAHIEU

Brian Cashman said today that the Yankees are working on bringing back Dj LeMahieu and that he’s this winter’s priority. Cashman also went on to say that he wants to keep Dj LeMahieu at second base and keep Gleyber Torres at shortstop. Cashman also relayed that he isn’t trying to trade Luke Voit with the idea of moving LeMahieu to first base. Cashman told the media that LeMahieu’s free agency is “Driving the bus a little bit” for the Yankees offseason moves. Aaron Boone, also stated yesterday that it’s no secret that Dj LeMahieu is the Yankees’ number one priority this off-season. Cashman doesn’t have any “pinky promise” with LeMahieu’s agent to exceed another offer but said that he told LeMahieu’s agent that the Yankees will NOT make a move that takes them out of play for LeMahieu without calling them first.
