Patriots: Keys To The Wild Card Game

As the regular season has commenced, Wild Card weekend is upon us. The Patriots will be facing the Titans, a very underrated team. This week will be very hard. The Titans are a very legit team who I think can (and will) beat us. Here are my thoughts about who will have to step up, and what will we have to do to beat Tennessee.

    #1: Stop Derrick Henry

Easier said than done. Our run defense is not very good. Derrick Henry is coming out of possibly the best game of his career. On the ground, he had 211 yards, 3 TDs, and averaged 6.6 yards per carry! Those are incredible stats that not many RBs can put up. We need to be able to stop him, or else this game will be an easy win for the Titans.

#2: We Need to Run the Ball. Because For Some Reason We Don’t. (Or for short, WNTRTB.BFSRWD)

Our pass game this year has not been good. At all. Our run game has been the exact opposite though, and for the last few games, it has been clicking. We need to use James White, Sony Michel, and Rex Burkhead to run all over the Titans defense. This game should be very run heavy for both teams.

#3: Big Men Gotta Have a Big Game

Lawrence Guy and Danny Shelton gotta have a big game. They gotta clog up the middle so Derrick Henry doesn’t have a big game. We have to clog up the middle with our big guys. If we don’t, Derrick Henry is gonna have a field day.

    #4: Brady Must Step Up

The GOAT has to play good if we want a chance to win. Just make smart decisions and good throws. If TB12 can have a good day, this team can win. A 300 yard, 2-3 passing TD, 0 INT day would be an ideal statline.
