Eagles Player Grades: Eagles vs Giants

The Eagles pulled out an impressive 34-17 win over the Giants to clinch the division and the 4th seed in the NFC. Here are some notable player grades from the game.

    Carson Wentz: B

Carson Wentz kept his team in the game but was not the main thing that kept the offense going. His leadership alone gets him a high grade for this game. He also reached 4000 yards on the season today, making him the first Eagle ever to throw for 4000 yards, as well as the first player in history to throw for 4000 yards with no receiver eclipsing 500 yards.

    Boston Scott: A

Boston Scott had yet another amazing performance against the Giants this week. He totaled 54 rushing yards with 84 receiving yards. He scored 3 touchdowns on the ground as well. This was good enough to put the game out of reach for the Giants and earn Scott NFC Offensive Player of the Week.

    Greg Ward: B-

Fan favorite receiver Greg Ward didn’t have a huge impact on the game. Typically we see bigger performances out of him, but he wasn’t bad. He did his job and didn’t drop the ball.

    Offensive Line: C-

Nobody could expect the offensive line to perform well today. The right side of the line was out for most of the game and Jason Kelce had a bad game at center. While they were able to hold up with the injuries, they weren’t overly impressive.

    Cre’von LeBlanc: A+

LeBlanc had a fantastic game at corner. He made several big plays for the team to seal the win. He deserves more playing time and the coaching staff needs to give him that to earn my respect.
